The Adi Bane Kebang United Youth Wing (ABKU-YW), along with SAYA, SIFF Youth Wing and the Adi Galo Welfare Society, has called a 12-hour bandh across East Siang, Siang and Upper Siang districts of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday, October 23.
According to the announcement, the bandh will be observed from 5 am to 5 pm under a joint banner.
Essential medical services, medical emergencies and personnel on official duty, including magistrates and paramilitary forces, have been exempted from the bandh.
The organisers said the bandh would be observed peacefully as a democratic movement and appealed to the public to cooperate with the call.
