More than 100 flights were delayed due to a sudden technical glitch in the air traffic control system at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indira Gandhi Airport is the busiest airport in India, handling around 1,500 flights daily. However, on Friday morning, over 100 flights were delayed due to a technical glitch in the airport’s air traffic control system, causing severe inconvenience to passengers.
The Airports Authority of India in a statement said that flight operations at Delhi airport were delayed due to a technical glitch in the automatic message switching system, which supports air traffic control data.
